Teen Mosaic & Glass Fusing Camp

Teen Mosaic & Glass Fusing Camp

Monday - Friday July 9 - 13, 9 am - 4 pm each day.

Open to ages 12-18.

In this intensive summer camp, students will explore techniques for creating beautiful mosaic tiles out of ceramics and glass. Students will start by working in wet clay to design tiles using a variety of carving and decorating techniques. we will then will incorporate their fired finished tiles into larger mosaic pieces.

Students will also have a chance to delve into warm glass fusing using specialized CO-90 fusing glass to create coasters, pendants and small dishes.

A great camp for the passionate teen artist looking for a new medium! A background in making art is great but not required - all levels welcome!

*Please note that there is an additional $40 materials fee for this class due to the specialized materials needed for glass fusing.
